White-Label & Resellers

LoopMessage makes it possible to build and resell messaging services under your own brand using our omnichannel messaging infrastructure.

Whether you’re developing a SaaS platform, CRM, AI assistant, marketing automation tool, or an entirely new messaging product, you can integrate iMessage, SMS/RCS, and WhatsApp capabilities directly into your application.

Our API provides nearly complete control over messaging services, allowing you to manage customers, organizations, sender names, conversations, and integrations programmatically — without requiring your customers to use the LoopMessage Dashboard.

Instead of developing and maintaining the underlying messaging infrastructure yourself, you can focus on building your product, delivering a great customer experience, and growing your business.

LoopMessage supports resale and white-label business models under our Terms of Use, subject to the applicable restrictions and messaging policies.

1. How white-label and reselling work

With LoopMessage, you can use our API as the messaging layer behind your own product.

Your customers interact with your platform, while your backend communicates with LoopMessage to manage their messaging resources.

A typical integration looks like this:

Your Customer → Your Application → Your Backend → LoopMessage API → Messaging Platforms

Incoming messages, delivery statuses, and other events can be delivered back to your backend through webhooks.

Your application decides how to display those events, process conversations, and provide messaging features to your customers.

Your brand, your platform

You can create your own customer-facing experience, including:

  • Your own website and registration process.
  • A custom dashboard with your branding.
  • Your own subscription plans and pricing.
  • Customer onboarding and phone number provisioning.
  • Conversation management and automation tools.
  • Integrations with CRMs, chatbots, and other applications.
  • Your own customer support and billing workflows.

Your customers can access messaging functionality through your product without needing to interact directly with the LoopMessage Dashboard.

Since most administrative operations are available through our API, you can automate provisioning and management as your customer base grows.

The main advantage: You build and manage the customer-facing product, while LoopMessage provides the underlying messaging infrastructure.

2. Manage messaging services through the API

One of the most important features for resellers is LoopMessage’s extensive API coverage.

Our API is not limited to sending and receiving messages. It also provides methods for managing many of the administrative operations required to operate a messaging service.

Organization management

You can create and manage organizations programmatically.

Organizations are particularly useful for multi-tenant applications, where each of your customers needs a separate environment.

Each organization has:

  • Its own unique API key.
  • A separate webhook URL and configuration.
  • Its own assigned sender names and phone numbers.
  • Access to its own messaging resources and organization-specific data.

When you create a LoopMessage account, a Default organization is created automatically.

This organization provides account-level administrative capabilities. Its API key can be used to create, list, update, and delete other organizations through the API.

API keys belonging to other organizations have access restricted to their respective organization environments.

This structure allows your backend to manage multiple customers from a single LoopMessage account while maintaining separation between their resources.

Learn more in the Organizations API documentation.

Sender name and phone number management

You can also manage sender names programmatically.

Depending on your configuration and the available services, the API allows you to:

  • Retrieve available sender plans.
  • Order new dedicated sender names and phone numbers.
  • Retrieve sender information and activation statuses.
  • Assign sender names to specific organizations.
  • Update supported sender settings.
  • Configure sender contact names and photos.
  • Cancel sender services.

For example, when a customer purchases a phone number through your platform, your backend can automatically submit the corresponding provisioning request to LoopMessage.

Once activated, the sender becomes available for supported messaging operations.

Some orders may require identity verification, documentation, or additional approval depending on local regulations, number availability, and messaging platform requirements.

Learn more in the Order New Sender Names API and Manage Sender Name API.

Messaging and conversation management

LoopMessage provides a unified Conversation API that supports several messaging channels through one integration.

Your backend can use it to:

  • Send and receive messages.
  • Work with supported attachments and rich-message features.
  • Receive inbound messages through webhooks.
  • Track outbound message statuses.
  • Retrieve message history.
  • Implement automated conversations and messaging workflows.
  • Integrate messaging with your existing application or CRM.

Instead of implementing each messaging channel independently, your application communicates with the LoopMessage API.

Available capabilities depend on the selected sender, messaging channel, and applicable platform requirements.

Learn more in the Sending Messages API and Webhooks documentation.

Additional API capabilities

LoopMessage also provides APIs for other useful operations, including:

  • Sender Pools: Create and manage groups of sender names.
  • Opt-in: Generate unique links to initiate customer conversations.
  • Audience Management: Work with contacts and subscription statuses.
  • Message and Webhook History: Retrieve records for troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Data Retention: Delete eligible message, webhook, and API request records programmatically.
  • Paid Content: Create payment-based access to digital content.

These capabilities allow you to build more complete messaging products without implementing every supporting feature from scratch.

Some settings and account operations may still require Dashboard access or support assistance.

Explore the complete API Documentation.

3. Build a multi-tenant platform with Organizations

If you’re building a SaaS platform or reselling messaging services to multiple businesses, we recommend using a separate LoopMessage organization for each customer.

For example, imagine you’re operating a CRM platform serving 100 different companies.

You can structure your integration as follows:

Your platformLoopMessage
Customer AOrganization A
Customer BOrganization B
Customer COrganization C
Customer DOrganization D
……
Customer 100Organization 100

Each customer can have a separate set of sender names, API credentials, webhook configuration, and messaging resources.

Why use separate organizations?

Customer isolation

Separating customers into organizations helps prevent one customer from accessing another customer’s messaging resources.

Independent configurations

Each organization can have its own webhook destination, sender configuration, and supported organization settings.

Simpler onboarding

Your backend can create organizations automatically when new customers activate messaging features.

Easier customer management

You can manage customers individually without mixing all messaging resources into a single environment.

Scalability

The organization model provides a foundation for expanding your platform as you onboard additional customers.

Example: Automated customer onboarding

A typical onboarding process could look like this:

  1. A customer registers on your SaaS platform.
  2. They select one of your messaging subscription plans.
  3. Your backend creates a new organization through the LoopMessage API.
  4. Your system requests the selected sender name or phone number.
  5. LoopMessage processes provisioning and any required verification.
  6. Once the sender is active, your platform enables the customer’s messaging features.
  7. Incoming messages and delivery events are forwarded to your backend through the organization’s configured webhook.

Your customer manages the service through your application without needing to create or administer a separate LoopMessage Dashboard account.

Important: Creating organizations through the API requires active paid services. These administrative methods are not available in the Sandbox environment.

4. Build your own branded dashboard

One of the main advantages of LoopMessage for white-label providers is the ability to build your own user interface.

You can create a dashboard that matches your product’s design and includes only the features your customers need.

For example, your dashboard could provide:

  • Phone number management.
  • Message history and conversations.
  • Contact management.
  • Messaging automation.
  • Sender settings.
  • Subscription management.
  • Usage reporting based on the data you collect.
  • Integrations with third-party systems.

All supported operations can communicate with LoopMessage through your backend.

You control the interface, user experience, authentication, and customer-facing functionality.

Don’t want to build a messaging Inbox from scratch?

LoopMessage also provides an Embedded Inbox.

Embedded Inbox allows you to display a ready-to-use messaging interface inside your application using an iframe.

It supports features such as:

  • One-to-one conversations.
  • Group conversations.
  • Attachments.
  • Reactions.
  • Message threads.
  • Supported iMessage effects.

This can significantly reduce development time when you need a conversation interface but don’t want to implement one yourself.

The Embedded Inbox has its own interface and requires configuration through the LoopMessage Dashboard, including allowed domains and access settings.

If you need complete control over the Inbox design and branding, you can build your own interface using the Conversation API instead.

5. Offer multiple messaging channels through one integration

LoopMessage allows you to offer several messaging channels within the same product.

Depending on the selected sender and its capabilities, you can support:

iMessage

Allow your customers to communicate with Apple users through iMessage.

SMS/RCS

Provide traditional SMS and compatible RCS messaging capabilities, including communication with Google Messages users.

WhatsApp

Enable WhatsApp messaging for supported sender configurations.

Using a unified API can simplify development compared with maintaining separate integrations for each supported channel.

Your customers can use the channels available to their sender names without needing to understand the underlying delivery infrastructure.

Twilio API compatibility

If your product already integrates with Twilio, LoopMessage provides a Twilio-compatible API.

This can make it easier to adapt existing integrations and messaging workflows.

For example, CRM platforms that already support configurable Twilio API endpoints may be able to connect through LoopMessage’s compatibility layer.

Some implementation changes may still be required, and compatibility depends on which Twilio functionality your application uses.

6. Create your own pricing and billing model

As a reseller, you can decide how to package messaging services for your customers.

You don’t need to use the same customer-facing pricing structure as LoopMessage.

For example, you might offer:

  • Monthly subscriptions: Charge customers a recurring fee for messaging capabilities.
  • Tiered plans: Offer different packages based on sender names, channels, or included functionality.
  • Bundled services: Include messaging as part of your CRM, SaaS, or automation subscription.
  • Setup fees: Charge customers for onboarding, integration, or configuration.
  • Custom enterprise packages: Develop pricing tailored to larger customers.

Your customers pay your business according to your own pricing model, while your business maintains its billing relationship with LoopMessage.

You can integrate your preferred payment provider and manage subscriptions, invoices, and customer payments within your application.

The underlying LoopMessage services continue to be billed according to the plans, subscriptions, usage charges, and other fees applicable to your account.

Need custom billing arrangements?

We understand that reseller and white-label businesses may have billing requirements that differ from those of individual customers.

For example, your business might need:

  • A customized billing schedule.
  • Centralized billing across multiple organizations.
  • Alternative pricing or invoicing arrangements.
  • A billing workflow that better matches your customer onboarding process.
  • Special commercial terms for a larger deployment.

If our standard billing configuration doesn’t fit your business model, feel free to contact LoopMessage Support.

Describe your intended integration, expected usage, and billing requirements. Our team will review your request and try to find a suitable solution whenever technically and commercially feasible.

Custom billing arrangements are evaluated individually and are not guaranteed.

You do not need to contact Support simply because you want to resell or white-label LoopMessage. Support is available when you need assistance, special arrangements, or approval for a use case that specifically requires it.

SaaS and CRM platforms

Add omnichannel messaging functionality to your existing application.

For example, a CRM provider could allow customers to send messages, receive replies, manage conversations, and automate follow-ups without leaving the CRM.

Instead of building the underlying messaging infrastructure, the CRM integrates with LoopMessage.

Marketing and automation agencies

Agencies can offer messaging as part of their existing client services.

You can manage separate organizations for different clients while providing onboarding, campaign configuration, CRM integrations, and ongoing technical support.

This approach allows agencies to include messaging capabilities within broader service packages.

AI assistants and chatbot platforms

Build AI-powered assistants that communicate with users through supported messaging channels.

Your application handles AI models, conversation context, automation logic, and business workflows.

LoopMessage provides the messaging API and webhooks used to exchange messages with end users.

For example, you might develop customer support assistants, appointment-booking bots, or lead-qualification agents.

Vertical SaaS products

If your application serves a specific industry, you can add messaging as a native feature.

Examples include:

  • Real estate platforms.
  • E-commerce applications.
  • Scheduling and appointment systems.
  • Hospitality software.
  • Customer support systems.
  • Professional services platforms.

Messaging can become part of the workflows your customers already use, rather than a separate product they need to manage.

Software development and integration providers

Developers can also use LoopMessage to implement messaging functionality for their clients.

For example, you might build custom messaging integrations, automation systems, or customer communication interfaces as part of a larger software development project.

Using the API can reduce the amount of messaging infrastructure your team needs to develop and maintain.

8. Why choose LoopMessage for your product?

Focus on your product instead of messaging infrastructure

Building messaging infrastructure requires considerably more than sending API requests.

You also need to manage sender provisioning, message processing, webhooks, platform-specific behavior, service availability, and ongoing maintenance.

LoopMessage provides these underlying capabilities so your team can concentrate on your product’s unique features.

Reduce development time

You can integrate existing messaging and administrative APIs instead of building every component yourself.

This can help you bring messaging features to market faster.

Maintain your own customer experience

You control your website, application, branding, onboarding, customer support, and customer-facing billing.

Your users can interact with messaging as a native feature of your product.

Automate customer provisioning

Use the API to automate organization creation, sender ordering, configuration, and other supported administrative operations.

This reduces the manual work required when onboarding new customers.

Support multi-tenant applications

The Organizations feature allows you to separate customer resources while managing them through a centralized backend.

Expand your existing product

Adding messaging can create opportunities to provide additional value to your existing customers.

You can combine messaging with CRM features, AI assistants, automations, analytics, or other services already available in your application.

9. Important considerations for resellers

LoopMessage supports resale and white-label use under its Terms of Use.

However, these arrangements must comply with the same legal, security, messaging, and acceptable-use requirements that apply to direct customers.

Responsibility for your customers

If you resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise commercially offer LoopMessage services, the applicable restrictions also extend to your customers, end users, sub-resellers, and other downstream parties.

As the reseller, you’re responsible for informing those parties about the applicable requirements and ensuring their compliance.

Messaging compliance

You and your customers must comply with applicable laws, messaging platform policies, sender verification requirements, and recipient consent rules.

LoopMessage may restrict services used for spam, scams, phishing, abuse, unlawful messaging, or other prohibited activities.

Competing services and public comparisons

White-label and reseller arrangements are permitted, but the Services must not be used to create or operate a competing service in violation of the Terms of Use.

Within a reseller arrangement, publishing comparisons that position your offering as competing with LoopMessage is also restricted.

You can offer messaging capabilities under your own brand, but your commercial presentation must comply with these restrictions.

Sender verification

Depending on the country, phone number type, or messaging channel, you or your customers may need to provide identification documents, business information, or other verification materials.

Data privacy and security

You are responsible for implementing appropriate access controls, protecting API credentials, and handling customer data according to applicable laws.

If your product handles regulated data, additional agreements or approvals may be required.

Customer-facing representations

Your customers should receive accurate information about messaging capabilities and limitations.

Availability and delivery depend on the supported channels, network providers, applicable regulations, and third-party messaging platforms.

LoopMessage does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or that every sender name or channel will always be available.
