How the pricing plan limits work?

You have unlimited messaging with limits on the number of unique contacts per day and per month.

Let’s consider an example where you have a limit of 300 active conversations per day and 1,000 per month.

In this case, you can message up to 1,000 unique contacts per month, provided that you do not exceed 300 unique contacts per day (within a rolling 24-hour period).

What happens if I reach my limit?

You will still be able to receive inbound messages, but you will not be able to reply. In this case, it is recommended that you upgrade to a higher-tier plan.

What if I reach the daily limit on the highest-tier plan?

It is recommended that you register multiple phone numbers and distribute your users across them.

Is this limit included when my sender init a conversation with a new contact?

Yes. However, you need to keep in mind that you will also be constrained by the interval between init a conversation with a new contact for this use case. And most likely, that interval won’t allow you to fully utilize your daily limit just for init new conversations. You can check more in this article.

How is this calculated if all my contacts start a conversation with my sender?

You can respond to contacts immediately, within your unique daily contact limit. This limit is calculated based on the 24-hour period preceding the receipt of a request to send an outbound message.
